Nurse Manager 

Our Nurse Manager Verity joined New Dover Road in 2017. She supports the Doctor's and Nursing team with both clinical and admin tasks.

Practice Nurses

Our Practice Nurses can perform a number of procedures from travel vaccinations/advice, Childhood vaccinations, Zoladex injections, Pill checks, pnemonia and shingles vaccines, removal of stiches,  Cervical smears to Dopplers.
Our Practice Nurses also run dedicated clinics for anti-coagulation services (Warfarin testing), Asthma, baby immunisations, dementia reviews, diabetic reviews,cancer care reviews and care home contact.

Health Care Assistants

Our Healthcare assistants support the practice nurses with their day-to-day clinics and carry out numerous tasks such as blood tests, blood pressure checks, NHS Health Checks, height/weight/BMI monitoring, urinalysis, ECG's, diabetic foot checks, wound swabs, wound care, flu/pneumonia vaccinations, vitamin B12 injections, ear syringing.
HCAs also assist our Doctors with their Minor Surgery and Coil/Implant clinics which are held throughout the week.

General Practice Assistants 

Our GP Assistants support the Doctors and clinical team with both admin and clinical tasks including cholesterol reviews, NHS health checks, blood tests, blood pressure checks, b12 injections, urinalysis, ECG's, height/weight/BMI, QOF admin, and further admin tasks.
GP Assistants also assist our Doctors with their Minor Surgery and Coil/Implant clinics which are held throughout the week.

Our clinical and admin team who are qualified  may assist as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
